    The inauguration of the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi by the BAPS organization took place amidst great celebration on February 14th last month. Starting from March 1st, the temple has been opened to the general public. It’s noteworthy that from February 15th to February 29th, only those individuals were permitted entry who had pre-registered.

    Temple Timings and Entry Guidelines

    The temple is open for visitors from 9 AM to 8 PM daily. No registration is required for entry into the temple premises, but there are certain rules to be adhered to:

    Dress Code for Entry

    Visitors are advised to wear appropriate attire upon entry. It’s recommended to don modest clothing when visiting the temple. Avoid clothing with offensive designs or slogans.

    Guidelines for Visitors

    The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha volunteers and staff will be available at the temple premises to assist visitors. Entry into the temple with elegant attire is encouraged. Visitors are requested to cover their shoulders and knees. Additionally, clothing with transparent, provocative, or tight-fitting materials is discouraged.

    Prohibited Items and Actions

    To maintain the sanctity of the temple, certain items and behaviors are strictly prohibited. Visitors are not allowed to bring in outside food or drinks. Only satvik (pure) food will be available within the temple premises. The use of drones within the temple vicinity is strictly prohibited without prior permission from the authorities. Photography for commercial and journalistic purposes requires departmental permission.

    Child Policy and Bag Restrictions

    Children must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the temple premises. Bringing bags, backpacks, or cabin luggage inside is not allowed. Sharp objects, matches, lighters, etc., are also prohibited. While mobile phones can be used outside the temple, their usage inside is strictly prohibited.

On the export front, Suzuki experienced a slight decline, with figures dropping to 14,131 units in February 2024 from 18,170 units in February 2023.

    Speaking about the company’s sales performance, Devashish Handa, Executive Vice President (Sales, Marketing, and After Sales) of Suzuki Motorcycle India, stated, “In February 2024, SMIPL achieved a production figure of ten lakh units. This demonstrates the company’s efficient utilization of its plant’s full production capacity in less than a year.”

    Handa further added, “The company has consistently achieved robust growth over the past eleven months. This reflects the positive trends among buyers, support from our business partners, and the dedication of our team members. With a focus on customer satisfaction, we aim to sustain this growth in the future.”

    It is noteworthy that Suzuki showcased several motorcycles at the India Mobility Global Expo 2024 earlier this month. Alongside global motorcycles like V-Strom 800DE and GSX-8R, the lineup included the Gixxer 250 SF, a future-ready flex-fuel motorcycle.
