MP Assembly Election 2023: एमपी में आज चुनावी रैली का आख़िरी दिन है। कांग्रेस महासचिव ने आज ददिया में चुनावी सभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा- पीएम मोदी के नाम एक मेरे नाम फिल्म बननी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा- मोदी जी का क्या कहना है वह तो अपनी व्यथा से ही व्यथित हैं। जनता को अपनी पीड़ा ही सुनाते रहते हैं। कर्नाटक गए तो गालियों की एक लिस्ट लेकर गए, रोए और बताने लगे कि मुझे इतनी गालियां दी गई। एमपी आए तो पुनः उन्होंने अपनी पीड़ा की गाथा रिपीट की। आपको सलमान खान की फिल्म तेरे नाम याद है उस फिल्म में वह शुरू से अंत तक रोता रहता है। वैसे ही मोदी जी का हाल है उनके लिए भी एक फिल्म मेरे नाम बननी चाहिए। 

उन्होंने आगे कहा- मोदी जी टॉप क्लास आदमी हैं। दुनिया के कायर और गद्दार उन्होंने एकजुट कर लिए हैं। मुझे बीजेपी और आरएसएस के उन कार्यकर्ताओं पर तरस आता है जो लम्बे समय से संघर्ष कर रहे हैं। वास्तव में उनकी स्थिति बेहद खराब है। बहुत लोगों ने विश्वासघात किया लेकिन कुछ लोगों ने तो जनता की पीठ में छुरा खोंप दिया। एमपी में हमारी सरकार थी लेकिन उनकी धोखेबाजी ने सरकार गिरा दी। परिवर्तन का समय आ गया है। जनता इन धोखेबाजों को सबक सीखने के लिए तत्पर है। 

मोदी जी, देश के पहले ऐसे प्रधानमंत्री हैं- जो अपने ही दुःख से दुखी रहते हैं, दिन भर रोते रहते हैं।

लेकिन मोदी जी आदमी की पहचान में टॉप क्लास हैं।

क्योंकि, उन्होंने दुनिया भर के कायरों और गद्दारों को इकठ्ठा कर अपनी ही पार्टी में ले लिया है।

In a recent interview with the Times of India, India’s Home Minister, Amit Shah, expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership will secure an even more substantial majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Shah also claimed the formation of BJP-led governments in all three Hindi-belt states.

Amit Shah is actively overseeing BJP’s election campaigns in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, emphasizing victory in both states and expressing assurance about Rajasthan as well. Shah remarked, “In the upcoming elections in Telangana, though a few days remain for polling, I observe an anti-Congress wave, particularly in the Hindi-belt states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, based on my direct observations during state visits.

Amit Shah highlighted the unpredictability of politics, stating, “In politics, 1+1 doesn’t always equal 2. We’ve been in power in Gujarat since 1995 and entered Madhya Pradesh’s governance in 2003. Yet, we consistently emerge victorious in Gujarat. What matters is not just the duration of your tenure but what you’ve done for the people during your governance.

Regarding the India Gathbandhan formed under Congress leadership before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Amit Shah confidently asserted, “There’s no doubt that under Narendra Modi’s leadership, the BJP will form a government with an even more significant majority in 2024. Those who unite under the opposition alliance banner are united for political self-interest. The public understands everything; people are wise nowadays.

India’s Foreign Minister, S. Jaishankar, addressed concerns regarding the investigation into the tragic killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He affirmed that the Indian government does not deny the investigation related to Nijjar’s murder but urged the Canadian government to substantiate its claims, particularly those implicating Indian agents in Nijjar’s demise. Jaishankar, currently on a visit to Britain, engaged in discussions covering several issues, including China and Canada, during a program.

Involvement in Bilateral Events

During his visit to London, Jaishankar actively participated in the return ceremony of ancient idols stolen from a temple in Lokhari, Uttar Pradesh, dating back to the 8th century. He also addressed allegations leveled against Canada and discussed these incidents. This statement from the Foreign Minister comes at a time when, two months earlier, Justin Trudeau’s government accused Indian agents of Nijjar’s murder, leading India’s top diplomat to depart from Ottawa.

Asserting Transparency and Freedom of Expression

Expressing concerns, Jaishankar highlighted what he perceives as Canada accommodating aggressive and extremist policies within its political landscape. He emphasized the need to differentiate these policies, including advocating separatism from India, with the primary responsibility of India. He indicated that these individuals have found a place within Canada’s political arena, exercising freedom of expression. However, he underscored that freedom of speech and expression should be exercised responsibly.

Caution Against Misuse of Liberties for Political Gains

Jaishankar cautioned against misusing these liberties and freedoms for political motives, stating that such actions are not acceptable. He invited anyone with substantial evidence supporting allegations to share them for a fair investigation, emphasizing their willingness to cooperate without denial.

Views on India-China Relations

Shifting the discussion to China, the Foreign Minister acknowledged China’s rise as a reality while affirming India’s concurrent ascent. He stressed that while the growth trajectories might differ, they cannot be equated quantitatively or qualitatively. Highlighting the deep-rooted histories of both nations, Jaishankar asserted the need to discern certain aspects and underscored India’s prominence globally in terms of both economy and population.

Tata Consultancy Services has issued transfer notices to over 2000 of its employees. The IT employee union, National Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES), disclosed that the company has instructed all these employees to join their respective locations within 15 days. Earlier, TCS had mandated a five-day office work for employees in another decision.

Action to be taken if not joined on time

According to a report published in Manikantrol, employees who were transferred have been informed about this via email. The email stated that employees must join the designated location within the next two weeks. Failure to comply could result in disciplinary actions against the employees. Additionally, the email assured reimbursement for travel and accommodation expenses incurred by the employees. These emails started reaching employees from August.

Employees’ Complaints

Since the email from TCS, more than 180 employees have lodged complaints with the National Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES). Employees claim that the company is transferring them from one city to another without providing accurate information, causing significant distress.

Following employees’ complaints, the IT union has filed a complaint against TCS with the Ministry of Labour and Employment. As per a report in Manikantrol, Harpreet Singh Saluja, the President of NITES, stated that the company failed to consider the personal and financial hardships of the employees while making this decision. This could lead to substantial difficulties for the employees. He mentioned that while most of the 2000 employees have relocated as per the transfers, around 150 to 200 employees are refraining from doing so.

Company’s Response

In response to queries by Manikantrol, a company official mentioned that this was a routine decision primarily applied to freshers who were trained in various locations but are now being assigned to actual projects. The company denied the allegations raised by the employees.

Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, particularly concerning her remarks about Jyotiraditya Scindia and his family. Sarma expressed deep concern, stating that such statements had hurt people’s sentiments significantly.

Sarma emphasized, “The language Priyanka Gandhi used for Jyotiraditya Scindia is highly inappropriate, causing distress to many. When I was associated with the Congress, I closely observed Scindia, seeing him as a capable public servant and a true soldier of the Congress party. It’s immensely saddening to hear such disrespectful words for him.”

‘Gandhi Family’s Arrogance Knows No Bounds,’ Sarma Asserts

Taking to the social media platform, CM Sarma reiterated, “Priyanka Gandhi’s words once again affirm the towering arrogance of the Gandhi family. Though they may consider themselves a royal family, opposing them doesn’t equate to treason.”

He continued, asserting that the existence of this family revolves around one point—claiming an inherent birthright to govern the nation.

Priyanka Gandhi Targets Jyotiraditya Scindia

During her address to a public gathering in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi remarked on the peculiar nature of BJP leaders, specifically Jyotiraditya Scindia, with whom she had previously worked in Uttar Pradesh. She commented on his diminishing humility despite a rise in stature within the party, highlighting his excessive pride.

‘Scindia Upheld Family Tradition Well,’ Priyanka Retaliates

At this juncture, Priyanka Gandhi accused him of betraying people’s trust, juxtaposing his faithful representation of his family’s legacy with alleged betrayals elsewhere. She mentioned widespread betrayals, citing instances where trust was broken with Gwalior and Chamba’s populace, leading to the downfall of a government formed by the people’s choice.

Government employees across the country are advocating for the revival of the Old Pension Scheme, expressing their dissent against the National Pension System (NPS). Simultaneously, the Reserve Bank of India, as the regulator of the banking sector, has released the ‘Handbook of Statistics on Indian States, 2022-23’, depicting the financial status of states across various sectors, including pension data.

Over 19 years, pension burdens surged by ₹4.26 trillion. According to data released by the RBI, the pension burden on states and union territories was ₹37,378 crore in the fiscal year 2004-05. This escalated nearly fourfold, reaching ₹1,83,499 crore in 2014-15. Subsequently, in the next nine years (2022-23), the pension burden skyrocketed by 152%, soaring to ₹4,63,437 crore. The burden on states surged from ₹37,378 crore in 2004-05 to ₹4,63,437 crore over the 19-year period, a staggering 1140% increase.

RBI’s Cautionary Note on Old Pension Scheme

These statistics affirm that a substantial portion of states’ revenue is allocated towards pensions. Previously, the RBI had cautioned against adopting the Old Pension Scheme in its bulletin, asserting that implementing OPS instead of NPS would increase the financial burden by 4.5 times. Several states, including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh under Congress governance, have reinstated the old pension plan. Congress has pledged to reinstate the scheme in Madhya Pradesh upon forming the government. Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Party government has also reinstated OPS in the state.

Government Pressures and Future Considerations

With the looming prospect of this becoming a significant issue in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the central government has constituted a committee, chaired by the finance secretary, to review the NPS. This committee is engaging with various stakeholders for deliberation. While the committee hasn’t arrived at a conclusion yet, it’s evident that after the reinstatement of some states’ Old Pension Schemes, the central government is under pressure. Government employees from different states have protested in Delhi’s Ramleela Maidan, voicing their dissent against the demand for the Old Pension Scheme.

The filming of ‘Journey’ in Varanasi featuring Nana Patekar has garnered attention due to a viral video. Patekar’s clarification regarding an incident during the shoot sheds light on the misunderstanding. The incident, mistaken as an off-screen altercation, was actually a scene rehearsal.

Patekar clarified that the incident, misconstrued by an onlooker, was part of a scripted scene where a character hurls derogatory remarks at him. In costume and character, Patekar responded by pushing the person away. However, the situation was wrongly captured, leading to a viral misunderstanding.

Expressing regret over the misunderstanding, Patekar extended an apology for the unintended repercussions. Despite the viral nature of the incident, he emphasized his commitment to non-violence and his affection for people.

Moreover, amidst the bustling Varanasi ghats, the filming encountered tremendous local support, with no complaints from the residents despite the crowds.

This clarification aims to dispel any misconceptions and reaffirm Patekar’s commitment to peaceful conduct. His willingness to apologize to the person involved, if they can be identified, reflects his earnestness in resolving the misunderstanding.
